Qui-Gon Jin Qui-Gon Jin is a great Jedi Master who along with his young padawan learner Obi-Wan Kenobi, is assigned to protect Queen Amidala of the small planet of Naboo. He is a respected Jedi but is not a member of the legendary Jedi Council due to his constant defiance. Qui-Gon is very strong with the living force.
Obi-Wan Kenobi Obi-Wan Kenobi is a young padawan learner in training to become a great Jedi Master. His teacher Qui-Gon Jin and he travel throughout the galaxy serving the wishes of Chancellor Valorium, leader of the Galactic Senate in the Republic. Obi-Wan is very wise and is well trained in the Jedi arts.
Queen Amidala Queen Amidala is a young girl who was recently elected Queen as the of Naboo. After her planet is invaded by the greedy Trade Federation Army, she is prompted to leave her people with Jedi Qui-Gon Jin and Obi-Wan Kenobi and head to Coruscant, the central system in the Republic, where she will try to convince the Galactic Senate to stop the invasion of her planet.
Anakin Skywalker Anakin Skywalker is a young, nine year old slave boy living with his mother, Shmi Skywalker on the remote, desert planet of Tatooine. Owned by a creature named Watto, with a severe gambling problem, he works in a parts shop and races pods. He is very strong with the force and has no father.
Jar Jar Binks Jar Jar Binks is the strange, Gungan living in the swamps of Naboo. Banished from his home of Otoh Gunga, Jar Jar encounters Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jin and helps him get to Naboo to rescue Queen Amidala. He plays a vital role in bringing the Gungans and the Naboo together to defeat the forces of the Trade Federation Army.
Senator Palpatine Senator Palpatine is a respected member of the Galactic Senate. He is the senator of Naboo and engulfed with politics. After he pushes for Queen Amidala to call for the election of a new Chancellor, he is nominated and finds this to be the perfect position to make his rise to power. He is elected and promises that along with the Queen, they shall bring peace and prosperity back to the Republic.
