The numbers for the weekend of January 28-30 are in. It dropped from 117 screens to 103 screens, and moved back three spots to the number 50 spot. After the movies 31 weeks of release, Episode 1 made $57,510, bringing it's total gross up to $431,065,444.
Screnes for the brand new Star Wars game, Star Wars Jedi Power battles for the PlayStation game console have finally been released. The slated release date of the game is sometime in the Spring of this year. Check out the Video games section of the site for more information on the game along with the screen shots.
The long awaited VHS release of Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace is finally here after an official Lucasfilm announcement. The official date for the United States release is set for April 4, 2000 and copies can be reserved starting January 28, 2000. The release of the film marks the first ever global release in the same week of April 3-8, 2000. The video will be digitaly mastered with THX sound and picture quality.
